The guide includes a material list with just four items that should cost you around $10. You can take this to any big box store, such as Home Depot or Lowe’s, and pick everything up in one trip. You might want to read through the plans first as there are some optional adjustments described. But you’d be safe just taking the list and getting the materials.
You’ll need some way to cut wood (this can be a handsaw or even the little saw in a Swiss army knife) and to hammer small nails. When you’re done, your air frame will have all joints fully glued and nailed together. With about an hour of your time and $10, you’ll have a stable air framed rig that’s around 22" x 17" x 10".
