Vitalik Buterin has sent massive quantities of “meme cash” that had been gifted to him to a number of charities. Buterin has despatched 13,292 ETH value $54 million, on the time of the transaction, to Givewell, a non-profit group that evaluates the effectiveness of charities. He despatched roughly $336 million value of ELON to the Methuselah Basis, a non-profit devoted to tissue engineering and making “90 the brand new 50 by 2030.”

The creators of those tokens had despatched massive portions to Buterin in hopes that he would maintain them. At one level, it was reported that trillions of SHIB value over $8 billion had been despatched to him.
Some have advised that Buterin’s motive may have been introduced on by the extent of congestion that these new meme cash had induced on the ethereum blockchain, resulting in a rise in charges and lack of usability for extra severe tasks.
